SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
For the second year, Carver Center has been awarded a grant from the Westchester Putnam Workforce Development Board to provide Summer Youth Employment Services (SYEP) for our community. The contract is providing funding for 31 youth ages 14-20 with job readiness skills training, and summer employment opportunities.
Students will be working at the Carver Market and Carver Carver, and with our community partners, Steer for Student Athletes, Office of State Senator Shelley B. Mayer, Port Chester Rye Brook Public Library, Port Chester High School STEAM Program, Meals on Main Street, The Sharing Shelf, and M Auto Detailing.
