Port Chester Carver Center After-School Program 2026–2027
The Port Chester Carver Center, in partnership with the Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District, plans to continue offering an after-school program for the 2026–2027 school year at all four elementary school sites.
At this time, we are collecting family interest as we continue planning for the upcoming school year and await final funding confirmation. The RECOVS Learning Loss grant that helped support a significant portion of the after-school program in prior years has ended, and the district has applied for additional grant funding for 2026–2027. Available seats and program details may vary by school based on confirmed funding and site capacity.
As has been the practice in prior years, formal registration will take place in July, once key planning details are finalized. This interest form will help us understand family interest and plan accordingly; however, it is not a registration form and does not guarantee placement in the program.

The after-school program is expected to run from 3:00–5:30 PM on days when school is in session and will follow the school district calendar. The program includes a hot supper and a variety of activities, such as academic support, literacy, arts, sports, STEM, recreation, and enrichment.
How Enrollment Works
Please complete the interest form by June 12, 2026 for each child in your household you may wish to enroll in the 2026–2027 after-school program.
Due to limited capacity at each site as required by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) licensing, enrollment will be determined through a lottery process if interest exceeds the number of available seats.
Families will receive additional information, including the formal registration form and next steps, in July.
We look forward to continuing to provide students with opportunities for learning, enrichment, and fun through the 2026–2027 After-School Program. If you have any questions, please call 914-305-6019.
