Each year, Carver Center volunteers give us more than 4,500 hours of time.
The Carver Market has consistently served our Port Chester community throughout the early days of the pandemic till today.
Help us continue to serve our clients and expand our reach. Our client choice market is back indoors and has a robust selection of fresh produce, protein and shelf stable food items each week.
Volunteers are needed: (16+ over) Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 12:45 – 3:00pm & 3:00 – 5:45pm
Assist guests with sign-in, grocery shopping & check out. Restock our Shelves.
Tuesday/Thursday – 11:00am – 5:30pm
Stocking and organizing shelves, unpacking deliveries & setting up for market days. (Some of these tasks might require lifting boxes. Volunteer time slots of 1- 3 hours are available.
ALL VOLUNTEERS, GUESTS AND STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS.
Community groups and corporations are welcome back to help in our Carver Market.
During this past year, we have been collaborating with our community partner, Meals on Main Street (formerly Caritas) to help deliver meals to homebound people. If you would like to help, please click here for more information.
