Senior Programs

Grocery Delivery Service

Carver offers a monthly delivery of three days’ worth of groceries to seniors who are homebound. Volunteers stay in contact with our homebound seniors to document their dietary needs as well as offer companionship to those who are socially isolated.

Senior Breakfast

The Senior Breakfast, run by “Friends of Carver” Volunteers, provides a warm breakfast the first Friday of each month to an average of 40 seniors. Breakfast is followed by a presentation on topics relevant to the seniors, such as health care, housing, and legal issues.

Breakfasts are tentatively scheduled for the first Friday of every month. However the schedule can change due to weather or holidays. So we recommend you call a few days prior to confirm. (914) 305-6010.

Senior Network

Senior Network is our monthly opportunity to meet and discuss ways that Carver Center can better serve seniors in Port Chester.  We come together for coffee and participate in enjoyable activities that help us get to know one another better. All seniors are welcome to attend and to share their ideas and suggestions for improving Carver’s services. The program is held every third thursday of the month from 10:30 am – 11:30 am.
