Dinner at Noon

Nourishing Families Every Week
Dinner at Noon brings neighbors together each Saturday for a free hot meal in a welcoming environment. The program provides both nourishment and connection for individuals and families throughout Port Chester. Supported by local congregations and volunteers, Dinner at Noon ensures everyone has a place at the table.

About Dinner at Noon

Serving Meals, Strengthening Community

Dinner at Noon is more than a community meal. It is a welcoming Saturday gathering where individuals and families can enjoy a hot meal, spend time with neighbors, and feel connected to the broader Port Chester community. The program creates a comfortable space where everyone is treated with dignity and invited to share in the experience. Made possible by dedicated volunteers and community partners, Dinner at Noon reflects Carver Center’s commitment to providing nourishment, companionship, and a place where everyone belongs.

Our popular Saturday Dinner @ Noon community meal program has resumed programming from 11:00am – 1:00pm. The program is supported each week by one of five local faith-based congregations who volunteer their time on their designated Saturday. Approximately 40 people join us each week.

The Volunteers Behind Dinner at Noon

Dinner at Noon is possible because of volunteers who help cook the meal, set the tables, and share a seat with our guests. It's a place where people are known by name and welcomed with warmth. Our volunteers make that happen together with our Nutrition and Wellness team. Thank you to everyone who gives their time to Dinner at Noon. Your care nourishes our community in every sense of the word.
