A-Chord with Kids, a volunteer youth-run music program, has just wrapped up their 8th season with us at Carver Center! They prove that anyone, at any age, can make a difference in our community. Check out these powerful pictures of youth teaching and helping other youth through music appreciation.

To wrap up the season, about 16 Carver kids and their families will be going to the Rye Country Day School upper school band concert this week. They will be hosted by A-Chord volunteers and treated to a pizza dinner before the concert.

A-Chord with Kids’ mission is “To help underserved children build confidence, self-esteem and a lifelong love of and appreciation for music through musical education, participation and performance.” — Alex Goddard and Daniel Leva, Co-Presidents
